The Perfect Pair: Läderach x Moet Hennessy

Thoughtful indulgence is universal.

Together with Hennessy in 2024, we brought together a classic and savoured pairing of chocolate and cognac for an elevated, indulgent experience for guests, tastemakers and VIPs.

When I first joined Läderach, we plugged into a few luxury events with a similar memo: Canapes. Champagne. Product launch.

How could we stand out?

Right at the tail-end of 2024, the opportunity came: a private pairing experience for VIP bank customers.

The Perfect Pair was born. Together with Läderach’s brand owner, Rachel, and Hennessy’s senior brand manager, Bryan, we created a new way to indulge special guests and VIPs through a multi-sensory programme.

In ‘The Perfect Pair’ Programme, our brand ambassadors guide participants through through the stories of two craftsmen brands, expertly pairing chocolates with cognac and exploring the nuances of complementary, contrasting and synergestic combinations.

Participants are given a sensory treat through specific tasting and pouring rituals that enrich their appreciation for these luxurious pairings.

Participants are treated to synergistic combinations of FrischSchoggi and cognac – with selections curated and tailored by both brands.

The Pairing Programme begins with a Chocolate Appreciation Programme by Läderach, and ends with a narrative-driven pairing between exquisite spirits and our artisanal chocolate.

The session ends with a deeper understanding of both chocolate and accompanying beverage, and their well-crafted stories.

From delivery to presentation, The Perfect Pair is a performance. It’s artistry between senses and a story. They engaged with brand history strategically structured into a pairing script.

The story doesn’t end here* as we explore more electrifying combinations that complement, not compete.
